Aya looks kinda cute.
Can't wait for the full release :D
This game is nice, but it has one major flaw: It feels like it's trying to tell two stories that don't quite fit.
On one hand, it tries to tell a story about fighting an alien invasion.
On the other hand, it tries to tell a "girl gets caught and fucked by aliens" story.
But sadly, the game can't reconcile both stories organically, leading in the largest issue with the game: the ACTUAL main character.
He feels like he doesn't belong at all in the whole "h-game" thing, since he never gets laid and his involvement with h-content doesn't extend further than "walks in on lewd things". As a result, he feels like a mix between the "shy harem protag who stutters around and stumbles into lewd situations he can never fully partake in and will likely die a virgin" and the "Light Novel protagonist who is inexplicably better than everyone around him, especially the ladies".
The other games do a better job at mixing the h-stuff with the rest of the plot and make sure to have a protagonist who partakes in both, at the very least.
I only know how to get the last Nyx scene. I am not deep enough in Sasha's story, yet.
You must go to that bus stop a little below the ruined town at night.
But you must do it while coming from the north.
There, you will see a ghost girl. You must sneak up behind her and engage in a conversation.
You'll even get a new tag from the encounter.
Goes well and all, but I have a few things to bring up on both the technical side and the story side:
Technical side: There is a bug where, when I have sex with the villager in the first quest, the scene is inexplicably me as a futa even though I picked a guy.
Story side: How am I expected to beat a vicious demon with the power of a dark god? A backwater kingdom and a few neighboring tribes wouldn't be able to do what an army of orc failed to do. That bitch could crush ANY human army by HERSELF! It'd take the forces of the ORIGINAL Slave Lord AND the Sisterhood just to even things out.
Well, now that I've beaten the first boss, I can say that at least the beds address the whole "finite stamina and health" issue in a way. However, I've run into another issue that Nyx doesn't have to worry about too much while Sasha has so much trouble that it becomes a chore: Sasha doesn't have any reliable ways to fight ghosts other than charms, which are not easy to come by.
The haunted dungeon should at least give something that could address this issue, even something as simple as silver bullets for her handgun.
Because these Krasue monstrosities are a series pain in the ass.
I'd say that the game's biggest issue is that EVERYTHING other than saving and enemy-spawning is a finite resource. This is especially problematic in dungeons since, while enemies can respawn after reloading the file, the HP and SP do not, which means that a failure to complete the dungeon in a single run can run the risk of locking the player in an unwinnable situation.
You should find a way to balance things out. For example, you could have it that saving fully heals and to remove campfires. And if you think it'd make the game too easy, you could have it that enemies respawn whenever the player saves, just like in Dark Souls.
But if you REALLY want to stick to a limited-resource and HP & SP tight management gameplay, then you should add a certain survival horror mechanic that would honestly make the game more fair: Enemies STAY dead when they're killed. If the players have to struggle with maintaining the ability to so much as ATTACK, you should at least make sure that any SP and ammo they spend MATTERS.
As for the Nyx story, I'd say that her having SP that regenerates basically outweighs EVERY drawbacks she has compared to Sasha, to the point where I'd say that nothing Sasha has can truly make her in any way better to play than Nyx. The fact that her main weapon has a much longer reach certainly doesn't help.
You said that you see this game as a "survival horror", but you've implemented certain gameplay features from other genres that makes the survival horror experience feel far too unfair and unbalanced for Sasha and makes Nyx come off as ridiculously OP in comparison.
I also read that you admitted that the demo lacks the open-ended gameplay that was intended for the full game, which makes the experience tougher. Who knows, maybe the open-ended gameplay would make things more fair. But since the demo lacks those features, maybe you should think of workarounds that would make the demo a more fun experience, at least workarounds that wouldn't violate the core gameplay you have in mind for the game.
I am sorry if this is a lot to say, but bear in mind that I actually like a lot of the features the game has, and want nothing more than to see the game be great and fun to play.
